About Me
A Music Tutor
I am currently a trumpet player in the British Army, and I have extensive experience of high pressure performances and performing solos. I have recently become the principal cornet player of Staines Brass Band, where not only am I able to continue to improve my own playing and also managing a section, I can also nurture and tutor my section to get the best out of them. I would like to do more tutoring as this is the best way to pass on my knowledge that I’ve learned over the years I’ve been playing to the next generation of players.
I am currently working towards a diploma with ABRSM in both trumpet and piano, so I am proficient in both instruments to teach them to a high standard.

Lessons
I offer lessons at my address in Brookwood, and also online via video call.
My teaching styles are based on each pupil, making sure that they get the most out of each lesson. Each lesson will start off with an element of technique, before moving on to apply what we’ve learnt in the context of a piece. Each pupil will leave their lesson knowing that they have learnt something new, ready to put that into practise over the week before their next lesson.
